To Purchase a Puppy .....
Please be sure to read the following terms of sale before inquiring about purchasing a puppy.
All puppies are sold with **AKC limited registration**. What does "limited registration" mean? It basically means that this puppy cannot be used for breeding although your new puppy can still be registered with the AKC. Full registration when agreed upon (we will not sell our babies for the intent of breeding stock only) can be obtained for an additional $250.00. A deposit of $100.00 will hold your puppy and be applied to the total. Deposits are non-refundable. We accept debit card payments and credit cards through Paypal (please add 3% if using Paypal) or United States Postal Service (USPS) money orders via mail - money orders or cash only for puppies picked up. We do not accept personal checks.
We ship within the U.S. (except Hawaii) - an additional $300.00 is added to the total price for shipping. This includes the flight, a medium - sized crate, a collar for puppies on connecting flights, a rug, a toy and a certified health certificate from our vet that is required for the puppy to fly. A personalized "puppy packet" comes with all of our babies that may need to be sent separately when shipping a puppy. We typically use Delta airlines and non-stop flights if possible. We make all of the arrangements and confirm dates and times with the new owner. If a non-stop flight is not an option we choose the shortest layover & most direct flights available. We call the new owner from the airport as soon as the puppy is in the hands of the airlines and give them the puppy's new tracking number. We request that the new owner call us from the airport (if possible) as soon as they have picked up their new puppy. This puts eveyone's mind at ease - especially mine! While we prefer "pickups", we understand that a day of travel is well worth a life-long happy home for these babies. Also, keep in mind that the airlines have rules and regulations regarding the weather in the interest of safety. A puppy cannot be shipped if it is under 20 degrees F - or over 85 degrees F. If the day we have scheduled for the puppy to fly is not witnin these parameters, we will simply keep trying until the puppy is in his/her new home. A puppy must be eight weeks of age to be shipped - payment in full is due by the time the puppy is seven weeks of age. We have never had a bad experience when shipping our babies.
All puppies must be vet checked before they leave us and come with a health guaranty. ALL puppies must be checked by the new owner's vet within three (3) days of receiving them (excluding weekends and holidays) for this health guaranty to remain effective. It is a good idea to contact your vet of choice to make an appointment in advance as many vets can be difficult to get into quickly.
