"Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot about puppies." -- Gene Hill

Thank you for visiting our site.  It's been many years since our first litter of basset hound babies.  Wow!  Have we had fun!  Our new male, Julius, is the newest member of our family.  We brought him home on Mother's Day in 2006.  We raise AKC-registered basset hounds of high pet quality.  We are not a kennel.  Every one of our basset hounds is a personal pet.  We, as well as our boys have a blast with our pets and with the puppies we watch enter this world.  It gives us great gratitude to watch our puppies develop and find new homes to become someone's "baby" or a child's new best friend.   The idea of raising basset hounds started with our first Basset named Dot.  Although Dot is no longer with us, we still love her as much as we love the rest of our bassets.

We own three breeding females:

  • Chi Chi - Lemon and White
  • Phoebe - Tri-Color
  • Cinder - Mahogany

We own one male:

Sadly, at the end of last Summer, we lost our first male, Sir Nelson Sams.  Nelson has been missed very much and we will always love him.

Our stud male is Sir James Julius Caeser of Eden who has 30 Champions in his five generation pedigree.

Since all of our Bassets are personal pets that were bought as puppies and raised in the house with us, they will never be sold or placed in other homes when they are too old to breed.  We believe pets are life-long committments and part of the family.  Please be responsible and research your pet before bringing him/her home, and feel free to e-mail us with any questions you have.
